On September 13, the "2025 First Autonomous Mining Truck Engineering Application Conference" was held at the Yulin Convention and Exhibition Center in Shaanxi Province. The event included an industry expo, keynote speeches, and the release of an industry development blue paper. The founding team of Jiangsu Titan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Titan Technology”) was invited to attend.

As an important part of the 19th Yulin International Coal and High-End Energy Chemical Industry Expo, the conference attracted over 300 participants from various sectors, including autonomous mining trucks, supply chains, solution providers, coal mining production equipment and transportation companies, 5G communication IoT solutions, safety monitoring systems, intelligent robotics enterprises, large-scale coal mining energy end-users, international multinational corporations, investment and financing institutions, government units, and media organizations.

Guests from multiple enterprises and research institutions shared cutting-edge practices and explorations in areas such as innovative mixed operations in mining, large-scale unmanned transportation in mining, multi-technology integrated 5G remote control applications, and key technologies and development of new energy autonomous driving in mining. The conference served as a bridge for in-depth discussions on the industry’s application prospects and implementation cases.

During the conference, the "China Mining Area Autonomous Driving Industry Development Blue Paper (2025 Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the “Blue Paper”), jointly compiled by Titan Technology and other enterprises, was officially released globally. This milestone document aims to lead the large-scale and industrial development of autonomous driving in mining areas. The Blue Paper systematically outlines the development history, technological systems, policy standards, business models, and challenges of China’s mining area autonomous driving industry. It also provides authoritative predictions on future trends and, for the first time, comprehensively maps out the industry’s development panorama. The document is designed to offer decision-making references for enterprises across the industry chain, provide a basis for government policy formulation, and accelerate the large-scale commercial application and industrial upgrading of autonomous driving technology in typical closed and semi-closed scenarios like mining areas.

As of the end of August 2025, approximately 4,800 unmanned transport vehicles have been delivered for open-pit mining operations in China. In the future, with the accelerated digital transformation of open-pit coal mines, the demand for autonomous mining trucks is expected to continue growing, with an explosive surge projected by 2026. As a key player in promoting unmanned transformation in mining areas, Titan Technology was invited to participate in the joint compilation of the Blue Paper, contributing its extensive technical expertise and practical experience in multiple complex scenarios. The company provided valuable insights into key areas such as perception fusion, decision-making planning, vehicle control, cloud control platforms, and “vehicle-road-cloud” collaboration.

Dr. Liu Huafeng, Co-founder and CTO of Titan Technology, stated, “It is a great honor to participate in the compilation of this Blue Paper. Autonomous driving in mining areas is a core component of smart mine construction, playing a significant role in ensuring safety, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and promoting green and low-carbon development. Titan Technology remains committed to technological innovation and deep scenario applications, working alongside industry peers to advance China’s mining area autonomous driving industry into a new phase of high-quality development.”

Founded in July 2021 and headquartered in Jianye District, Nanjing, Titan Technology is a “National High-Tech Enterprise” and a “Nurtured Unicorn Enterprise.” The company combines L4 autonomous driving R&D with new energy heavy truck manufacturing, leveraging core technologies such as multi-modal fusion perception, adaptive high-precision positioning, and integrated vehicle-road-cloud business decision-making and control. Titan Technology provides AI-powered smart trucks and intelligent transportation services for specific scenarios such as bulk cargo ports, mining areas, steel plants, and logistics parks. In October 2024, the company officially launched its online transportation service platform, “TT One,” becoming the world’s first L4 unmanned dump truck fleet to provide commercial transportation services in bulk cargo ports. This achievement secured nearly RMB 100 million in orders, marking the beginning of rapid batch production and commercialization. “TT One” has since been fully deployed in mining areas in Xinjiang and Guangzhou, enabling end customers to adopt unmanned transportation services at minimal adaptation costs and benefit from energy savings, cost reduction, green emission cuts, and intelligent transportation solutions. Currently, Titan Technology’s business is rapidly expanding across China, the UAE, North America, and other global regions, demonstrating strong growth potential. Moving forward, Titan Technology will continue to leverage technology-driven, scenario-oriented approaches, collaborating with partners to inject robust momentum into building a safe, efficient, and green modern autonomous driving system.
